How do I log in to the new iCRP
To log in to the new iCRP, follow the following steps:- Enter your Username, Email, Phone Number or Accreditation Number
- Enter your Password and click Login

First Time Login?You’ll be prompted to enable 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication).
- Check your email for a verification code
- Enter the code and submit to access your dashboard

Duplicate Username or Phone Number?If the system detects a duplicate username or phone, you’ll be required to update it before logging in.
- Enter your old username/phone and the new one you wish to use
- Submit to proceed with login

Not sure which email is linked to your account?Click the "Check Email" button on the login page to view it.

No longer have access to your email?Send a request to helpdesk@cac.gov.ng or ict@cac.gov.ng with your account details to request an email update.
How to Reseve a Name on new i-CRP
Name reservation is now automated — you’ll get instant approval once payment is successful.STEPS:- Go to your dashboard → click "Name Reservation"
- Select Business Classification (Company, LP, LLP, Business Name)
- Choose Business Type (e.g. Sole Proprietorship, Private Ltd, etc.)
- Enter your Proposed Name
- Select Nature and Specific Nature of Business
- Click "Check Availability." If available: → Click Continue to Payment. If unavailable: → Click "Update Business Name" or → Click "Get Name Suggestions" for AI options
- Then proceed to Payment
- Once payment is successful, your name will be approved instantly, and you'll receive your AV Code
How to Reserve Name that requires Consent on the new i-CRP
In the old CRP, names requiring consent were processed through the regular Name Reservation. In the new iCRP, this process has been separated and now stands on its own. Note: This process is still manually reviewed.STEPS:- Select your Business Classification and Business Type (e.g., IT, Company Limited by Guarantee)
- Select a Reason for Consent Request (e.g., new registration, restricted word, change of name)
- Click Continue, then enter your Proposed Name(s)
- Fill in required Entity Information, including Email address, Registered address, etc.
- Click Save & Continue after each step
- Review your application on the Preview Page
- If all details are correct, click Proceed to Payment
- Complete the payment process via Remita
- Your application is sent to an Approving Officer
- You'll receive an email update once it is Approved or Queried
How do I do Business Name Registration on the New i-CRP
Business Name registrations are now AI-approved and processed instantly.Please Note: The Registration of LLC, IT, LLP, and LP still follow the manual approval review process, whileSTEPS FOR BUSINESS NAME REGISTRATION:- From your Dashboard, click Registration on the navbar
- Click "Register New Business"
- In the pop-up, enter your AV Code (from name reservation)
- Click Continue, then fill in Email address, Business address, Date of commencement and Click Save & Continue
- Fill in Proprietor’s Details

Upload these documents (in image format only) for each proprietor:
- Means of Identification
- Passport Photograph
- Signature
Then click "Add Proprietor Document" to save - Click Save & Continue
- Review all details on the Preview Page
- Click Proceed to Payment and complete payment via Remita

Once submitted, check your application status on the dashboard:
For Status Action(s) to Take Pending The AI is reviewing. Wait a few moments and refresh your dashboard Queried - Click Action → View Query History
- Click Action → Modify Application to update & re-submit
Approved Click Action → Download Certificate and Status Report
How to file Post-Incorporation Processes on new i-CRP
In the old CRP, filing post-incorporation processes required logging into a separate Post-Incorporation portal. In the new iCRP, thanks to SSO (Single Sign-On), accredited agents can now access Post directly via Pre — no need for separate login.STEPS:- From your Dashboard, click "Post Inc." or "Post Incorporation"
- You’ll be redirected to the Post landing page
- Search for the entity you wish to file
- Click to proceed to entity's dashboard
- Proceed with your Post-Incorporation filing
NOTE: Approval process remains the same for Post — filings are manually reviewed by Approving Officers after submission. The ONLY change is there’s no more separate login to Post Inc.Who are accredited agents?

If you do not have a debit/credit card to use for payment online; you can still use your internet banking to pay for fees in the CAC-CRP. If you don't have internet banking either; just generate the bill from the CAC-CRP; walk into any bank branch in Nigeria and make the payment.But I am outside Nigeria how am I affected?
